That's exactly what the dual-layer dead-man's switch is for:
- Local parent watchdog: your phone pre-schedules an exact native alarm for wake time + grace period. Even if both phones lose internet or the kid's phone is off, yours sounds the siren unless a verified check-in disarms it.
- Cloud watchdog: when Punch 2 starts, the backend schedules a Cloud Task for the deadline. No verified completion means a high-priority breach push to your phone.

How does Punch 1 work?
Punch 1 rings on the alarm stream, overriding Do Not Disturb and silent mode. You choose math (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 problems at easy, medium, or hard) or trivia (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 questions across U.S. History & Civics, Pop Culture, and General Knowledge). Fresh questions and problems are generated every day so kids never face repetitive challenges or memorization. It won't dismiss until answered correctly. Kids can lower volume to 20% while solving, which starts the Punch 2 countdown early.
Does my kid need a Google account or email?
No. Only the parent signs in. Kids pair by scanning your family QR code or typing a 6-character Family ID. No child accounts, passwords, or personal data — fully COPPA-minded.
Can I manage multiple kids with different alarms?
Yes — up to 5 kids on one membership, each with their own routines or shared family alarms. Live status shows exactly where each kid is in their morning. Removing a kid automatically disarms all their alarms.
Can my kid change settings or turn the alarm off?
No. Sleeper mode is locked behind your 4-digit Master PIN — schedules, missions, and pairing can't be changed without it.
How do Hero Ranks and streaks work?
Each verified wake-up earns Hero Points toward 5 ranks: Morning Recruit, Dawn Warrior, Sunrise Champion, Morning Legend, and Grand Morning Master. Streaks add bonuses: +10 at 3 days, +25 at 7, +50 at 14.
What does it cost after the trial?
