Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Double Punch Alarm mobile application ("the App"), website, or associated cloud accountability services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility & Parental Supervision

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to register an account, make in-app purchases, or manage a family room within Double Punch Alarm. If you are a parent or legal guardian registering an account for your family, you agree to take full legal responsibility for any use of the App by minors under your household supervision.

3. Subscriptions, Fees & Google Play Billing

Double Punch Alarm offers free initial credits and premium family subscription access:

• Free Trial Credits: Every new family receives 10 free trial wake-up credits upon initial download. Trial credits grant full access to all features, including the Dual-Layer Dead-Man's Watchdog, Multimodal AI Vision evaluations, all 7 morning missions, and cognitive quizzes.
• Family Membership ($5.00/month): Following trial credits, continued daily alarm usage requires an active recurring subscription billed at $5.00 USD per month (plus applicable local taxes). A single subscription covers up to 5 child sleeper devices simultaneously.
• Google Play Billing: All subscription purchases are securely processed through Google Play In-App Billing. Payments will be charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled through your Google Play Account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time by opening the Google Play Store app > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions and selecting Double Punch Alarm. Cancellation takes effect at the conclusion of the current prepaid billing period.

Refund requests are subject to the standard refund policies of Google Play. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial subscription months.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse Double Punch Alarm or attempt to compromise its integrity. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the mobile application or cloud endpoints.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or emulators to spoof sensor motion data, pedometer steps, camera captures, or network check-ins.
• Upload offensive, illegal, harmful, or non-consensual imagery into photo verification targets or drawing sketch canvases.
• Attempt prompt injection or unauthorized queries through speech-to-text or riddle evaluation interfaces.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security of Firebase, Gemini AI services, or Google Cloud backend infrastructure.

6. Service Disclaimers & Alarm Reliance

Double Punch Alarm is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that alarms will never be missed. Users should maintain standard secondary morning backup routines for critical time-sensitive events (such as flight departures or vital examinations).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Double Punch Alarm and its developers, affiliates, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including missed work, school tardiness, lost profits, or data loss, arising from or related to your use or inability to use the Services.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice via in-app banner or website notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those revisions.
